Our history
Three family-run businesses joined forces in 1974 to give birth to our company, christened Verlag Papeterie GmbH. The oldest of these founding companies first opened their doors in 1891.
We changed our name to AvanCarte GmbH in 2002.
The road to success in becoming one of the most important providers to our market segment has been a straight course of steady growth and consistent focus on the needs of the specialty trade.
We consider ourselves not only a supplier of merchandise, but a full-scale service partner to our customers.
Our products
Greeting cards, postcards, fine art cards, photo cards, humorous cards, condolence cards, wrapping paper, gift bags, gift boxes, decorative ribbons and bows, gift items and napkins.
The entire market spectrum in one collection. Our customers benefit from the wide variety we offer for all occasions, tastes and price ranges. Extensive national and international assortment. Versatile services in all aspects related to greeting cards and gift wraps.
Our sales staff
Our own field service organization currently boasts 34 sales experts throughout Germany. Sales are always made from our latest collection and/or computerized sales and service systems.
Our customers
Specialty retail stores, gift shops, bookstores, tobacco/kiosk outlets and specialty sections of department stores. We currently provide our services to more than 5000 customers throughout all of Germany.
Exporting
We export primarily to our German-speaking neighbors. Sales are handled by one general customer in each respective country. Correspondence in German and English.
